I've tried switching the images to both output types JPG and PNG when I did some testing but there is very little difference, barely noticeable improvement in image quality. The images still come out blurry, especially for screenshots (image files mostly in JPG and PNG). From Acrobat Pro>File menu> Create>PDF from File I also tried coverting the word file to PDF via the following methodsģ. I set all Color Images, Grayscale images and Monochrome images to Bicubic Downsampling (Color and Grayscale at Bicubic, 300 and 450 pixesl/inch respectively, while Monochrome is 12 pixels/inch) When I save the same Word doc on my Mac, PDF is crisp and clear. When he saves (on a PC) a Word doc (using Save As -> PDF), the images get extremely blurry. We share a subscription to Microsoft Office 365. The only diff is for step 3, when i went to Word file>Acrobat Tab> preferences option>Settings tab>Advanced Settings>Images. Saving from Microsoft Word 365 to PDF generates blurry images. the drawings will be converted into Word element. Do one of the following depends on what you need: 1) Go to the Convert tab, choose Export All Images to output all images inside the document. The DOCX file will have all the images in the original size with all the shapes and textboxes present in native Word elements, i.e. File -> Download -> Microsoft Word(.docx). As always, the image looks great in Word, but is now reproduced as a stretched-out mess by Acrobat in the PDF. Step 3: Set Word's Acrobat settings to save images in high quality With upgraded software, it still does not work. Step 2: Ensure maximum image quality while saving in Word Step 1: Stop Word from compressing images ![]() ![]() I have done the following settings in my machine I am on Word 2013 and I am using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I am wondering if there is a way for me to export word to PDF without distorting the images, or at least improve the image quality so it doesn't come out really blurry.
